I love this photo of a de-construction day. I love these elegant heads – you can see them peering from my altered shoes and emerging from a clay mask. I purchase these wholesale as MardiGras décor.
I keep all the fabric bits and pieces which show up as collage clothing on my altered dolls, bits in collages and so forth. I also tend to remove the eyebrows from the faces, which had a nice element of mystery and distortion.
