Shared Feelings - Speaking to and for each other

These collages all are echoes of conversations with friends about feelings and senses. I often 'think' in images, in art, and these expressions are my distillations of sharings.

Sometimes we struggle with our differences and yet, within them, there is sameness.  I think different and same can find their way together.

Many of the people we feel most close to are living far from where we are.  They're so present with us and yet, they are literally at distance. And some are no longer in this reality, but still within us. The figures here all are symbolic of  my DearHearts at distance.

There's such a pull for 100%! The culture sends that message and it's easy to let it slip in.  But sometimes the actuality is 9 out of 10, 8 out of 10, 7 out of 10! And really, that's where the everyday really lives, not in the idealized 100%.
